Energy Infrastructure Rules

  1. Time and Place

1.1. The competition will be taking place on the 14th March 2019 at 11.30 to 12.30.


  1. Goals of the Competition

2.1. To popularize the profession of construction engineering.

2.2. To offer students and engineers in the field of construction engineering and architecture a challenge to employ their knowledge and through it enrich their work and studies.


  1. The Task

3.1. The competitors will receive their task in the beginning of the competition.

3.2. The task will be connected to the electricity.

4. Participants

4.1. This is a team competition. The maximum team size is limited to 2.

4.2. Participation is free.

4.3. There is no set age limit.

4.4. Participants are advised to have base knowledge about electricity.

4.5 Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

5. Registration

5.1. The registration can be found on BuildIT 2019’s homepage.

5.2. In case of free spots, it will be possible to register to the competition on the spot before the start of the competition.

5.3. By signing up, all participants voluntarily give their consent for the use of all information gathered during the event including pictures and videos made of the participants for marketing purposes by BuildIT .

5.4. By signing up, all participants agree to abide by the terms of this standard including the terms set for the copyright of the presented intellectual property.


6. Judging

6.1. The judging will be based on how well the final result fits the given criteria.


7. Awards

7.3. 1st to 3rd place recipients will be rewarded.

8. The Hosts

8.1. Patron of the Energy Infrastructure competition: Mapri Ehitus OÜ

7.2. Hosting the event: Student Council of the Faculty of Engineering at Tallinn University of Technology.

7.3. The lead-referee: Karl Aunin.
